ioGates sharing service is made so the receiver does not have to type in a password; just press the “view files” in the emails. This is to make it as easy as possible, but if you would like to have more control over how to log in to your share links, we have made a simple “two-factor authentication”. The way it works is that the receiver gets the share emails; when they press the “view files” on the shared mail, they will be asked to type in a four-digit code they receive on their cell phone. This way, your receivers will need both the email and the four digit code from the SMS.

Select the folder that you would like to have to enable factor authentication. Click on the SMS icon at the bottom of the library.
Select the Sharing menu
Drag the person over you would like to share with; if the person you drag over does not have the cell number, you need to add the person to the address book before you can share with this person. Please add the country code with "00" or "+."
The receivers will now receive the email, and when they click on the "View files" button, they will be asked to type a four-digit code they receive on their cell. In some cases, it can happen that the receivers do not get the SMS code, then there will appear a "Call me" button after 15 sec. Click on this, and an auto teleservice will call you and inform the code.
The SMS code will change every 1 min, and you only have three tries before getting a new code as an extra security feature.
