You can use regular FTP to upload files to your ioGates account. The username and password is the same as for your public user. If you do not know your public user credentials then please contact support@iogates.com.
Let’s say the user credentials are
user: iogates
pass: upload2iogates
Then select your favorite FTP program, i.e. Total Commander, and create a new connection. The server address should be ftp.iogates.com and the connection type should be FTP or FTP (TLS). The latter uses an encrypted connection. Type in the username and password and please use passive FTP.
When connected to the ioGates FTP server you will see an empty directory. This is where you upload your files. After uploading ioGates will automatically move the files from the FTP server. This means that the directory will always be empty and that resuming is unsupported.
Please note that we also support uploading via the web browser using HTTP.
